Blizzard’s Earthquake

No D3 comments from Bashiok today, but after Southern California was (mildly) rocked by an earthquake Tuesday afternoon, he shared the experience at Blizzard HQ in Irvine.

I think we’re all feeling a little more angelic now that we’ve experienced a recent earthquake here in Southern California.

We evacuated the building which was a fun congregation, and somewhat impressive sight seeing everyone in the company in the courtyard at one time. Everyone emerged unscathed, we’re back to work, and with new inspiration adding a camera shake effect to everything.

That camera shake bit is sarcasm, people. Let’s not see any hyperventilating online petitions against shaky-cams, now.

But, but, but shaking camera was part of the atmosphere in D2. Nothing can beat a good nausea before you fight Diablo. Or being annoyedX2 fighting the irksome imps and thier earth-shaking companians.

Diablo 3 will be pretty great, no amount of degenerative ignorant people signing a petition will change that.

It’s true though, people are making petitions against every single aspect of Diablo 3. I think they need to just go live under their rock and play Diablo 2 for the rest of their lives since that’s the only way they’ll ever be happy.
