Diablo 3 Demo Leak Rumours

Just a general note: Some Diablo 3 fansites have reported on a Diablo 3 Demo leak, supposedly from WWI 2008. First off, the supposed playable "demo" is the gameplay video split into parts and uploaded to Rapidshare. Secondly, several of the sites that are trying to get hits for it are deliberately serving trojans.

I assume everyone is smart enough not to fall for such things anyway, but still: Unless you hear it from official sources (or here), it's a fake or a hoax to hack you.

Didn’t this happen around the time of the convention as well? Silly if anyone falls for this.

Yeah it happened a while back too. This is a fresh claim.

Unfortunately with so many eager fans they’re rich pickings for key loggers and it only needs a small number of people to fall for it to be worth their effort.

Tempting… I have a good anti virus too… but I can wait. :p At least until confirmation.

Also it might spoil the first time I unwrap the real thing.

I find it hard to believe that some people continue to fall for these tricks. We are all ultra suspicious of everything now. If it’s not the terrorists it’s the key loggers that are out to get us!

Well, if people didn’t fall for these things, we would not have them around. Obviously someone do fall for them.

Having said that, in this case, it would seem to be the websites themselves that try to serve trojans, not the actual files. Either way, listen to the no 1 Diablo source before downloading strange files! =)

Blizzard is struggling. Diablo 2 in 1998 and people still play. Must have been a good game. But unfortunately Blizzard is burned out and getting angry. Diablo 3 is late and it looks like it sucks. All the good people have left Blizzard and more talented people have came into the gaming world who don’t work or wouldn’t work for blizzard.

Almost a memory - lets take a look at blizzards last hurrahh.
