New NPC Artwork

Four more gorgeous images, photographed at the Blizzard Museum at BlizzCon. These are all NPCs (as far as we can tell), and besides being great eye candy, they give some tantalizing plot hints. We’ll apparently encounter male and female nobility in the city of Caldeum, as well Yzar, a princess-looking NPC. We’ll also reunite with Adria the Witch again, last seen vending unlimited oceans of mana pots in Diablo I. (Ironic she’s returned, with potions a much-reduced element of D3’s gameplay.) You can browse these (and many others) in thumbnail form in the Character Art gallery, or click the following links:

Adria’s pretty cool..

Yzan definitely seems asian inspired.. perhaps we’ll be able to visit the homeland of the Wizard?

Cool looking. I’m guessing all the nobles are evil and corrupted and that they’ll end up dead. That’s fine but someday I’d like a plot where nobles aren’t assholes.

Not talking about the other two, just Yzan.

Yzan and the female nobility (http://www.diii.net/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=2044&cat=563) have very similar face painting. The male nobility has none.  I wonder if Yzan is also royal but named.
