Overseer Respawns

The latest Flagship Studio refugee to find a new home is Phil Shenk. He along with Kevin Klemmick, who served as Senior Software engineer at Flagship, have formed Gravity Bear. Phil was one of the founders of the now defunct Flagship Studios and before that he was Lead Character Artist on Diablo II and Art Director on Lord of Destruction. If his name sounds familiar for other reasons it’s because Shenk the Overseer is named after him although he’s not a whip cracking disciplinarian like his namesake.

Gravity Bear is yet to announce any titles in production.

Also Mythos, a game much like Diablo, but a little bit more cartoony. Unfortunately never put beyond Beta before they closed down for bankruptcy. It was quite fun, and I did enjoy HGL in beta as well. Problem was just that it wasn’t enough polished. That simple. That’s why Blizzard wins.
