Could we see this event schedule ?

okay, now I’m starting to lose some of my skepticism. I’d hate to get my hopes up and then there’s no d3 announcement and it’s another year to wait, but this does look somewhat promising…

It’s not promising at all… there’s no teasing from blizzard, no leak from the web. This press conference could be done for the wow movie for example.

I disagree. At the WWI last year for the SC2 announcement there was no no leak, no teasing. Press conferences are never done for movies.

There was teasing (you could see for each day the blizzard last games from war1 to SC2). And there was leak too, few days before the wwi we all known the game was SC2. Blizzard also said that a new game will be announced at the wwi2007 weeks before the event. This year: nothing.
I’m really disapointed too because I bought my wwi ticket for D3.

I was doubting we’d get anything for D3 at WWI, figured it would be Blizzcon but press conferences have only ever been held for game announcements.  Never movies, never more info on an announced title (full or xpack) (they are billed as Q&A sessions).  Unless there is something major happening to Blizzard?

Who cares, I’m enjoying the anticipation of it all.  It’s all rather cloak and daggers

I’m sure they’d hold a press conference if they were announcing a major motion picture based on one of their games. I don’t think that’s in the works, and if it were I think there would be endless leaks (movie projects are too big and outsourced to keep as quiet as in-house game production), but I do think they’d hold a press conference if they had one.  Uwe Boll FTW!

I meant game movie not cinema release.

The press conference is about the recent Activision Blizzard merger, not D3. It’s too early to announce D3 anyways.

Why would you need a press conference about something that’s already been announced a long time ago?
