Diablo 3 Overture Free from iTunes

Posted 3rd Sep 2008 02:27 AM by Flux

Blizzard has partnered with iTunes to offer the “Diablo III Overture” by Russell Brower & the Eminence Symphony Orchestra, as a free download. You must have itunes installed and an account with the Apple Store to download it. The tune is 3:46 in length, and parts of it should sound familiar from the WWI cinematic trailer. Click the link, and when itunes opens go to the “Apple Store” tab and the download should display there, along with the file information.

Update: Readers report that this song can only be downloaded with a US itunes account. We’ll add a link for international Diablo fans when one becomes available.

Sweet.  Thanks for the heads-up!

Worth mentioning only available in US store, and can’t be downloaded from a non-US Itunes account - shame..

A welcome option in lieu of ripping the audio from the Artwork Trailer.  Nice find, Flux.

I have managed to find the song in the European iTunes store as well - however, it costs the standard amount for a single song instead of being offered for free. If anyone has jittery fingers and wants to pay for it instead, search for "Russell Brower" - the song will be listed at the bottom of the search hits below the Burning Crusade soundtrack!

Can anyone upload it to rapidshare or somewhere else? Thanks.

Booyah iTunes :( I don’t think my 2.5 Gig RAM vista PC can handle to open that program with freezing!
